From the standpoint of damage to the musculoskeletal system, mono- and oligoarticular forms of YUHA can be considered favorable. In approximately one-fourth of children, the disease does not progress, a periodic, sometimes rather rare, exacerbation of the affected joints occurs with moderate activity, a slight pain reaction and responds well to therapy. In these cases, signs of bone destruction are rarely found, on radiographs, the changes correspond to Stage 1 and Stage 2 according to Sfeinbrocker (for details on the stages of X-ray changes, see section RA in adults). In the remaining children, involvement of other joints in the pathological process (generalization) is observed, however, as a rule, there are a small number of them and with moderate signs of activity. Rarely marked affection of the internal organs, with the exception of the eyes.It is necessary to dwell on this form of YUKH, especially since they are the most practical forms and are inherent in almost exclusively for children.
